We are counting down

It is unbelievable that in less then three weeks, Sal and Elena will be leaving for India with Tom and Bev following a week later. Getting ready for the conferences has been intense. There are writes, rewrites and more rewrites, but finally all the materials are finished and will be sent ahead for publishing this week. We have had the help of some fine men with the electronic transferring and power point presentations. Thanks to all who have helped along the way.

Please keep us in prayer for the next few weeks:
  • Pray for us to all stay in good health.
  • Pray that we have good weather on the days we travel and that there are no delays.
  • Pray that we are recover quickly from the time changes as we travel.
  • Pray that we are able to plug into a WI-FI network in the jungle so we can keep in touch with you.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all our readers. It is hard to believe that in just 6 weeks Sal and Elena will be off to India and Tom and Bev will follow a week later. The month of December is always filled with so much church and family celebrating. We must all remember why and who we celebrate. . . our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

At Quiet Corner, India, they are busy getting ready for the annual Christmas in the Jungle. This year they plan to host over 2,000 villagers who will enjoy a wonderful meal, be given new articles of clothing and attend a special Christmas service. The gospel will be shared and an opportunity will be given to accept the free gift of God's salvation. If you would like to help Quiet Corner with this special event, please visit the website at www.samindia.org. You can make a donations on line.

In the coming weeks, Pastor Sal, Tom and Elena will be putting the finishing touches on the teaching materials that will be used at the Pastor's and Woman's conferences. We are so blessed by those who have come alongside to assist us with all the power points and files that are to be electronically sent ahead for publishing.

We would covet your prayers in the coming weeks for the following requests:
  • Pray for each of us to remain in good health through the cold and flu season.
  • Pray that all materials are completed and sent to India in a timely fashion.
  • Pray that Quiet Corner will have no trouble publishing all the conference materials.
  • Pray that the weather will be good for travel to and from India.

Our hearts are humbled by this opportunity we have been given. And though we know that we are a blessing to Quiet Corner, we feel so much more blessed to serve alongside them.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Here we go!

Well, it is with great excitement that we share the plans that are brewing for our next trip to India. God is not just opening doors, He is flinging them open. As a result of the success of last year's Pastors Conference, we have been invited back to conduct another conference. This year Pastor Sal and Tom will present End Times Part 2, while Elena and Bev minister to women at a separate conference based on the Book of Habakkuk entitled Burden To Blessing. Due to the demand, the conferences will take place in two locations. The first Pastors and Women conferences will be held at the Quiet Corner Jungle Campsite in Mavanalla. The following week we will travel to the big city of Mysore to repeat the conferences for the folks who live there. We were just told that over 200 have registered for the Mysore conference as soon as the promotion was made public. This is an indication of the spiritual hunger for the Lord in India.

Sal and Elena will arrive in India the week before, January 20, to take part in the national Stand In The Gap Prayer Summit. Indians from all over the country will come together for a four day worship, praise and teaching seminar. The following week, Tom and Bev will join them just before the start of the first round of conferences.

We are all humbled that God would call us to minister in such a place as India. He is moving throughout the nation and we are astonished that He would send us to help them. Please check back here in the months to come as we will be posting our progress as we prepare to leave. We were happy to hear there is now WI-FI in the jungle. It will make it easy for us to keep you posted while we are there.
